Best Hotel Deals In Canggu

Here are our absolute favourite hotels in Canggu – hand-picked and tested by us.

Best coworking spaces in Canggu

Canggu is a hotspot for digital nomads and remote workers who live in Bali permanently, and there are plenty of coworking spaces to choose from in town and the nearby neighbourhoods of Pererenan and Berawa. While there are pros and cons to living in Canggu, the coworking spaces definitely make it worth it for digital nomads. Here are the best places with good wifi to be productive.

1. Tribal

Tribal is quickly becoming one of the most popular coworking spaces close to Canggu, and it’s easy to see why. Located in the up-and-coming neighbourhood of Pererenan, Tribal is a beautiful space with a large pool and plenty of greenery to make you feel like you’re on vacation.

There is no fee to work at this coworking space in Canggu, but digital nomads are asked to purchase at least a drink from the in-house restaurant. Tribal is actually an upscale hostel or coliving location but found great success in allowing outside guests to come and work for the day.

The place definitely feels like a cafe, but with a focus on productivity, so you don’t have to worry about it being too loud. There are different seating types such as sofas, benches and wooden chairs, but no traditional office set up that you might find at other coworking spaces around Canggu.

There is no AC, but it’s usually not too hot. Just make sure to come early, as seats here fill up fast.

3. Kajan Eatery

Kajan Eatery is a restaurant with a separate coworking space situated in Echo Beach in Canggu, which is notorious for being a strict no-gojek zone.

The actual coworking space (which you have to pay to use) is quite small here, but the restaurant (where you can sit on your laptop if you order something), is actually quite large. Just keep in mind that you need to come early if you’re looking for a seat in the coworking area.

A swimming pool invites you to relax, and while you work, you can also enjoy the delicious food and drinks of the restaurant. They’ve always got great deals and promotions, such as the tempting IDR 50,000 breakfast, available daily from 7 AM to 10 PM.

The working environment at Kajan Eatery is focused and quiet. Thanks to the many windows that diffuse natural light and offer panoramic views of the green surroundings. Don’t miss out on the parties hosted at Kajan every once in a while, where you can enjoy free flow drinks and networking with other digital nomads in Canggu, even if you’re not a coworking member.

4. BWork

BWork stands out as one of the best coworking spaces in Canggu, with many facilities. This innovative space strives to create an environment where work is not just a task but a fulfilling and meaningful experience.

BWork has quickly become so popular that it may even be difficult to secure a permanent membership, so make sure to double-check if slots are available before you decide this spot is right for you. Coming early is essential here if you don’t have a dedicated desk, which is a little bit limiting and not as flexible as I would like it to be.

Coworking at BWork takes many forms to meet the varied needs of its members. The casual cafe workspace is for those looking to focus their efforts while having the flexibility to interact and collaborate with other creative minds.

You don’t need a membership to sit here, and you’ll receive a WiFi code if you purchase a drink or food, but there are no office chairs, so it’s not really suitable for spending the entire day. The actual coworking space, which has a quiet, office-like environment and can only be accessed with a membership, is a better option.

BWork also offers a fully equipped studio for those passionate about multimedia content, including state-of-the-art audio equipment and a professional lighting setup. There are also meeting rooms and focus rooms of varying sizes if you need some privacy.

BWork also has a seminar room for up to 30 people, which can be rented. This space is perfect for workshops, conferences and other special occasions where collaboration is the focus.

In addition to the workspace, BWork also offers opportunities for relaxation and well-being. An open space with a swimming pool and lush garden lets you relax in a tropical setting. The huge rooftop space is dedicated to yoga, socialising and unwinding, with a great view of downtown Canggu.

And because food plays a crucial role in well-being and productivity, BWork has a cafe offering healthy, balanced meals to nourish the bodies and minds of its members.

8. Nomad Space at Boheme Pererenan

La Boheme is a restaurant with a coworking space, which is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet and casual place to work in Pererenan.

Located just minutes from the beach, this spot is not extremely well-known, so it’s rarely very crowded. Think of it almost like a separate room in a cafe, which is used exclusively by remote workers. Instead of the noisy atmosphere of a restaurant, you’ll get to concentrate in a quieter environment without having to pay a fortune for a day pass at a coworking space.

The best part is that this coworking space in Canggu is free to use as long as you order something from the cafe. Food prices are very reasonable, and the portions are large.

There is a pool and a nice view, which will help you enjoy the beauty of Bali as much as possible.

The Nomad Space at La Boheme is still relatively new, and although it’s not as large or well-equipped as the more well-known coworking spaces in Canggu, it’s a great budget-friendly option to try.

Dojo Bali organised regular workshops, skills-sharing sessions, networking events and social gatherings. It was a social hub and known for its loyal community of digital nomads who appreciated the reasonable prices and attention to detail of the founders.

We’re hoping Dojo will return to Canggu soon.

You can get all-inclusive memberships, which will allow you to work out, be productive and relax all on the huge property of Finns. While the membership is pricey, it can be a great option if you’re looking for an all-in-one solution, which will be more affordable than paying for coworking, a gym and workout classes separately.

14. Nebula Entrepreneur Coworking Space

As the name suggests, Nebula Entrepreneur Coworking Space is geared towards business owners and entrepreneurs who have made Bali their semi-permanent home.

This is one of the most beautiful coworking spaces in Canggu and all of Bali, with the perfect blend of industrial architecture and a jungle setting. They’re still a relatively new player in the area, and try to attract longterm residents instead of tourists or digital nomads who only come to Canggu for a few weeks.

Nebula has quickly gained popularity, and there is usually a waiting list for dedicated desks, so make sure to get in early. Their spaces are limited to 35 desks and 12 private offices, so you can be sure that the space won’t be overcrowded.

Prices for Nebula are definitely steep at IDR 3 million per month, but the value provided makes it more than worth it. The desks are extra large, and the chairs are some of the most comfortable you’ll find at coworking spaces in Bali.

The internet is much faster than in other workspaces in Canggu at 300 mbps. Each member also gets a shipping mailbox, printing credits and access to the Nebula Mastermind Community.

Penthouse Coworking is the right space for you if you’re looking for the fastest wifi and the best views in Canggu. Located in the Double View Mansions Bali, a luxury complex that rents out flats in Pererenan, this space is still up an coming and quickly gaining popularity.

The Double View Mansions Bali features top-of-the-range amenities such as powerful air-conditioning in all rooms, Bali’s fastest internet connection with speeds of 1000 mbps, comfortable office chairs and generously sized workspaces. There is also a swimming pool and restaurant on site.

Penthouse is usually not very crowded, so if you’re trying to escape the busy environment of other, larger coworking spaces in Canggu, Penthouse might be worth checking out.

They offer free trial days, and one of my favourite features is that they also allow 24/7 access to their in-house gym.

This coworking centre aims to stand out from the crowd by being in a quiet neighbourhood, offering the fastest internet in the area, and of course, the beautiful ocean views

Located in the heart of Berawa, the Kai Cafe and Coworking Space offers the perfect blend of nature and productivity. However, this space is not free to use, and you need to purchase a membership to enjoy the benefits of their coworking facilities in Canggu.

Alternatively, remote workers can sit in the restaurant and cafe area, which is possible all day as long as you order something.

The coworking space is much quieter though and there is a separate meeting room available if needed. The workspace combines creativity, collaboration and community with simple, minimalist décor and plenty of space.

Their memberships include free food and drinks, which is a nice bonus. However, there are no office chairs, and the space is small, so it fills up quickly.
